What a beautiful morning at @westgatesmokies
The weather was perfect, and the views were stellar, but my favorite parts of this session came afterward. One woman said it was the first time she was ever able to quiet her mind. She said when a thought would interrupt her peace, she would just calmly send it away.
Another woman hung back and chatted with me and then asked if she could pray for me. We held hands and she prayed and it was beautiful and I've thought about it all day. 🙏❤️

It doesn’t have to be an hour long.
You don’t need the matching set, the perfect playlist, or a beautifully curated space.

Especially as yoga teachers, it’s easy to spend so much time teaching, planning, and holding space for everyone else that we forget our own practice can be simple too.

Some days, it’s just a few quiet moments at home on the mat — and that’s enough. ✨

I led a private session today in the Smokies for a lovely soul! When we finished the 60 minute gentle yoga session and yoga nidra meditation, I asked her how she felt. She said one word, "loved"

You can’t book me directly — you have to reach out first and I have to approve it. It protects us both before we ever meet.

My husband always has the exact address and my live location is active in Life360. Someone always knows where I am.
FaceTime Introduction
Before every session we do a quick FaceTime — a chance to see each other’s faces and chat about what kind of experience you’re looking for. It makes showing up so much easier for everyone.
Trusting My Gut
If something feels off, I will leave. No session, no income, and no fear of a bad review is worth my safety. This one is especially for my fellow women — we are wired to accommodate, to keep the peace, to not make it awkward. But your gut exists for a reason. Trust it. You have full permission to walk out.

I'm so thankful to live in these mountains so close to all the people I love.
I used to take bookings on Sundays and I would miss church and the family meal after. One day it occurred to me that I don't HAVE to say yes to every booking. I can prioritize Sunday church and time with family. It's one of the best business decisions I've ever made.
